Position Summary
LeaderFit is seeking a proactive, detail-oriented, and conscientious team player with a proven passion for social impact. The Senior Associate will play a key role in supporting searches through a wide variety of client engagement activities, including: preparing search proposals, drafting job descriptions, researching potential candidates, managing candidate engagement, and participating in client meetings and candidate interviews. The Senior Associate position allows for professional growth through deeper engagement in the search process as the individual becomes proficient in the position.

The Senior Associate role requires superb project management, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize multiple competing priorities. This role is both externally facing and internal, as there is significant engagement with clients and candidates as well as independent research and writing.

The ideal candidate will bring a proactive “can do” attitude and an exceptional client service ethic. They will be a creative and proactive problem-solver with a proven ability to learn quickly and take initiative. In addition, the top candidate must have strong oral and written communication skills with an exceptional eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities
The Senior Associate will support a shared portfolio of searches across multiple colleagues. The Senior Associate will focus on a maximum of six searches at any one time.

The Senior Associate will report directly to a Vice President and will work closely on their searches, and will be accountable for providing the following key search supports:

  • Play a key role in scheduling client meetings and candidate interviews

  • Participate in LeaderFit pitch meetings with prospective clients

  • Organize and participate in LeaderFit launch meetings once a new client is secured

  • Assist with editing job descriptions based on input from needs assessment, client launch meetings and review of organizational background materials 

  • Develop launch plans, research relevant posting places, and post job descriptions when a search is launched

  • Prepare and send LeaderFit newsletters in MailChimp when new searches are launched

  • Conduct research to identify potential candidates through LinkedIn and online research thinking through relevant organizations

  • Manage candidate engagement throughout the search

  • Participate in interviews and client meetings as needed, collecting key information and taking detailed notes

  • Communicate with clients via email and phone to schedule interviews and provide updates

  • Prepare candidate memos for clients

  • Manage candidate information and updates through the LeaderFit’s applicant tracking system

  • LeaderFit currently uses the following systems and platforms: LinkedIn Recruiter, CATS Application Tracking System, Google Drive and Google Suite, MailChimp, Zoom, Doodle, Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat and Canva.


Requirements

  • Minimum five years of professional experience required, prior recruiting experience preferred 

  • Demonstrated passion for social impact, as evidenced by professional experience in the nonprofit sector

  • Commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging 

  • Experience managing fast-paced, complex projects with both internal and external stakeholders

  • Strong organizational skills, meticulous attention to detail, and ability to execute on multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Strong client service ethic and proven ability to engage with candidates and clients 

  • Resourcefulness and proactive problem-solving skills in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment

  • Exceptional writing skills, with the ability to produce high-quality search documents and written communication

  • Ability to manage different work styles, managing up and anticipating needs

  • Flexibility and ability to reprioritize activities as needed

  • Strong judgment, integrity, and high level of personal responsibility

  • Comfortable learning new software to improve efficiency 

  • Experience using social media platforms is a plus


Compensation and Benefits
The salary for the Senior Associate position is $75,000. LeaderFit offers a generous full health care benefits package including mental health services, dental, and vision, and a 401K plan.  In addition, there are funds available for professional development.
